1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III

The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud was manufactured between 1955 and 1965 and was the last Rolls Royce to be built on a separate chassis. When new, these cars set new standards and many remain in daily use today with owners worldwide because they are still so comfortable and responsive. In the UK they still feel at home weaving through London traffic, country lanes or touring the highlands.

Our car is a 1964 Silver Cloud III which is a “ last of line “ model including all the final technical enhancements prior to the introduction of the Silver Shadow in 1965.

This car is finished in Silver with contrasting black leather hide interior. The leather trim of any Rolls Royce is special and the maturing smell of this original car is wonderful. We have renewed the head lining and re-trimmed leather where necessary. Woodwork has been fully restored.

It was said of the Silver Cloud that its engine was “silent” and this is quite true when idling and cruising when you are in the car. When power is required, the engine responds, sounding like a distant electric motor. Wind noise is minimal. So, the magic carpet quiet ride in a Silver Cloud, will in every sense, take you to “another place”.
